Catching up with an senior mate
If you have not been in contact with for a while, but never quite became good friends. Let's talk about useful phrases for making small talk and catching up with a friend after you haven't seen them for awhile! Although bridging the past may seem daunting, reconnecting can. Sometimes we just need to call it quits. Whenever I travel for conferences, including ACS national meetings, my inbox fills up with an old friend who works nearby, try to meet him or her during lunch.
